NZFW23

After three-year hiatus, New Zealand Fashion Week finally returned in 2023 - I felt extremely privileged to participate and showcase my Towa designs.

I started designing my capsule collection, South Pacific, during my time spent on the east coast of Northland. Driving along coastal roads and past local beaches or flocks of sheep grazing in the beautiful green hills, this summer reminded me of a childhood largely spent with my three sisters in the countryside of NZ. Feeling inspired by my natural surroundings, this became the launchpad for the brand’s debut collection and NZFW runway show.

Held at Viaduct Events Centre in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, it was such an honour to be a part of NZ fashion’s biggest event along with a crew of incredible designers.

Behind the scenes | NZFW Runway Show

A special thank you to the team for making our debut runway show possible.

Our debut collection ‘South Pacific’ pays homage to our connection to nature and draws inspiration from a place that we call ‘home’.

Everyday spent by the coasts, silhouettes are relaxed, over-sized and crafted from breathable, natural textiles. From muted tones to earthy pops of colour drawn from New Zealand mountains, sand and the warmth of the sun - each design promises wearability all year round, no matter the occasion.
